This cottage renovation transforms a traditional mountain home into a warm and inviting short-term rental while preserving the character of its original architecture. Natural stone walls, timber ceilings and traditional woodwork were carefully retained and complemented with soft contemporary furnishings, warm lighting and thoughtfully selected decorative details. The design focuses on creating a comfortable, authentic retreat that feels connected to its surroundings while offering the functionality and comfort expected of a modern holiday home. Every space was considered with the guest experience in mind, balancing heritage, simplicity and contemporary hospitality.
